A "precious jewel in an even more precious casket", as the writer and poet Antonio Fogazzaro, a frequent visitor to the place, described it, Lake Molveno continues even now to seduce and inspire, thanks to its waters and its beach, awarded in 2016 five sails on the Legambiente and Italian Touring Club’s Blue Guide for the 7th consecutive year. Lake Molveno is also well known for its abundance of fish.
In summer you can swim and practice sailing, canoeing and windsurfing, or rent a rowboat or pedal boat and silently explore this precious ecosystem, hosting a considerably rich flora and fauna.
Children can have fun thanks to the comfortable playgrounds, sandboxes and minigolf.
Molveno was also awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club for the quality of its infrastructures.
